We quietly rang in the New Year at our house! Mom and Dad brought over an impressive showing of fireworks, which is always a little unnerving with two little ones running around. They loved it though!...and I am still trying to figure out how to use my "graduation/Christmas" present, so the pics did not turn out so great!
In January, us girls rallied together to throw a baby shower for our sweet friend, Danielle. She got so many cute things! We are so excited for this child that she is carrying. Laura should be here March 5th. Love these precious people!
Karsen went squirrel hunting with his daddy recently. YUCK! Kris, always looking for a teachable moment, thought that he HAD to cook the squirrel to show Karsen that you do not kill things just to kill them. He wants him to realize that we should only hunt and kill animals if we need to eat them.......Sorry, I just could not help with this particular lesson. I made
him cook the squirrel. Kris only ate a few bites, then trashed the whole thing. Karsen ate none! It stunk up the whole house!
My sweet little Kooper celebrated his 3rd birthday this month. He was sick and on medicines, so he did not feel too great. He wanted a tractor party, so that is what he got!
But, Valentine's Day was Kooper' actual birthday. They both got treats....and Kooper actually ended up having to go back to the doctor for the croup on his birthday. What a way to spend your birthday! He ended up getting a shot :( He is doing much better now....and f0r this week, we get to blame his latest temper tantrums on the steroids he is taking!
It is the steroids isn't it....it can't be my sweet baby's newfound personality??????

Poor Kooper!! Yes, it has to be the steroids! They make kids go NUTS, ha! Hope he is better now.
